The European Electronic Signature Forum already on June 10!

The European Forum on Electronic Signature and Trust Services (EFPE) is Europe's largest international conference on electronic trust services, including e-signature, as well as electronic identification and digital security. The theme of this year's edition is "E-identification and Trust Services as the Future of the Digital Economy." The event will be held in an online format, and representatives of business, academia and e-transformation support organizations from around the world will summarize how the nearly year and a half pandemic has affected the development of paperless services.

During the speeches, interviews and discussions, the experiences of selected industries will be presented and expectations will be discussed, as well as the development directions of the market for trust and e-identification services globally. A group of experts will engage in discussions from the fields of law, business and new technologies. The undeniable impact of digitization on both sustaining business continuity and rebuilding the economy after the COVID-19 pandemic and global economic development in the coming years will be discussed.

The European Electronic Signature Forum is a key event in the security and trust services market. For more than 20 years we have been bringing together the worlds of business, government and academia to exchange experience, knowledge and views. This year, for the second time, we will meet online. This format worked well during the previous edition of the event and allowed more than 600 participants from 39 countries. Despite the huge challenge, we managed to connect interested listeners with experts from all over the world. We hope that this year’s EFPE will meet the expectations and give answers to the questions we have, especially in this era of such accelerating digital transformation, said Tomasz Litarowicz, EFPE Conference Director.

Paperless without secrets

This year’s EFPE returns in an even more attractive and rich online format. The upcoming edition will take place on June 10, and among the speakers are representatives from recognized Polish and international companies and organizations, i.e. the European Commission, the ISO International Organization for Standardization (USA), the ETSI European Telecommunications Standards Institute Santander Leasing, Samsung Electronics Polska, Cosmos Corporation (Japan) or Asseco Data Systems.

During the event, lectures, debates and discussions will address issues such as:

Market changes in 2020/2021 in eID and trust services: Poland and Europe. An overview of the most important trends taking into account two main areas: regulatory at the European Union level and user expectations and needs. Speeches will deal with legislative and business projects that contribute to the development of e-services in the context of the European Commission's strategic plans related to digitization, the green economy and its post-pandemic recovery. The focus is on the user and defining their needs in the context of mass adoption of eID and trust services. Practical application of trust services. Representative examples of trust service implementations from the last 12 months. Exchange of international experience and determination of conditions for the success of implementation of such projects: from the economic side and from the user's point of view. The Future of the Digital Economy. Regulatory, technical and product trends in the eID and trust services market. The answer to the question of which of these will determine the directions of development in the coming years in the areas of standardization, technology and strategic support for business and administration.
