Improved Results Fourth Quarter in a Row

The first quarter of this year was the fourth quarter in a row when ASEE improved its financial results compared to the same periods of the previous years.

A message from Piotr Jeleński

The first quarter of this year was the fourth quarter in a row when ASEE improved its financial results compared to the same periods of the previous years. Better figures after the first three months of 2015 resulted from the increase in sales revenues and improved profitability in the Banking business unit. The biggest growth of revenue (29%) was recorded in the Payment business unit both by the Internet payment and physical payment parts of the business. In the last months we signed a number of new contracts, often including innovative solutions, on the supply of ATMs, with the leading banks in the region such as the contract for the replacement of the ATM network for Zagrebačka banka, the Croatian member of UniCredit Group, the expansion of the ATM network for NLB Tutunska Bank, one of the largest banks in Macedonia, the installment of the first ATM in Croatia for paying the bills or providing ATMs for the first self-service bank in Serbia – Procredit bank.

We have also set our foot in Italy – a completely new market for us. Asseco SEE has been chosen by one of the 10 largest Italian banking groups, Credem, to secure its Internet and Mobile Banking services with SxS/Mobile Token solutions as well as to provide ASEE Fraud Monitoring solution InAct. This is a big achievement for us taking into account a high competitiveness of the Italian market.

We have also increased our presence in the public sector in Serbia signing a contract with the Serbian export credit and insurance agency on the implementation of ASEBA PUB2000, an integrated banking application for retail and corporate banking, as well as on the Bulgarian market by providing bank process optimization solution ASEBA BPS to 150 branches of Societe Generale Expressbank and by signing a contract for ASEBA PUB2000 Trade Finance, documentary business processes solution, for Raiffeisenbank.

We continue our efforts in the area of digital transformation of the banking industry. Within the CEE 2020 initiative of the UniCredit Group, aimed at providing a consistent user experience across direct channels in its all CEE operations, once again Asseco SEE has been selected as a trusted partner to deliver new mobile applications.

Overall the first months of 2015 were good for Asseco SEE and I expect more good news in the months to come.
