Asseco develops in Bydgoszcz
Asseco, Poland's largest and one of Europe's largest IT companies, has been developing its presence in Bydgoszcz. Nearly 170 Asseco's employees have just moved to the most modern office building in the city - Arkada Business Park at 2 Fordońska Street, where they will implement advanced IT projects, primarily in the power industry and banking sectors.
Asseco Poland's team in Bydgoszcz works on the development of one of the flagship systems for the power industry sector - Asseco Utility Management Solutions (Asseco AUMS). It also conducts interesting projects abroad, e.g. in Ethiopia, in the cooperation with the government agency Information Network Security Agency (INSA) or in Serbia, where it will soon implement the AUMS Digital system in the largest Serbian energy company.
We encourage all people who would like to work on interesting projects in the largest IT company in Poland to keep track of the job ads published on our website. We are especially looking for programmers, analysts and software testers, said Bożena Knitter, Director of the Production Department of the Power and Gas Division, Asseco Poland.
Asseco occupies three floors of the Arkada Business Park complex with a total area of over 3,000 m2, where comfortable office rooms, conference rooms and chillout zones have been built.
In the underground car park there are also facilities for cyclists, such as racks, changing rooms and showers, which will certainly affect the comfort of work in our office. It is worth noting that our new office is located in a very good location when it comes to public transport and not far from the airport and the railway station. The Bydgoszcz Agglomeration Bike stop is also located right next to the office, said Jacek Tomkiewicz, Director of the Administration Department, Asseco Poland.
The office building is equipped with modern water, energy and CO2 reduction management systems, as well as two independent power sources and a generator.
The Asseco Group has been present in Bydgoszcz not only through the operations of Asseco Poland. Also the Social Benefits Division of Asseco Data Systems has its seat in the city, which originates from Przedsiębiorstwo Informatyki ZETO Bydgoszcz. It specializes in creating IT solutions for the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and the Farmers' Social Security Fund (KRUS). Asseco Data Systems also supports sports in Bydgoszcz, as the sponsor of Klub Sportowy PAŁAC Bydgoszcz's female volleyball team.
