Asseco among 50 Polish global companies according to "Wprost"
Asseco was included in the list of "50 Polish Global Companies" prepared by the editors of the "Wprost" weekly in cooperation with the Council of Polish Global Entrepreneurs. The ranking includes large companies that are strong brands not only in Poland, but also abroad.
Asseco is a leader in digitization in Poland and the largest IT company in the Central and Eastern European region. The company is present in more than 60 countries around the world and employs more than 33,000 people. Asseco companies are listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), NASDAQ and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Asseco has consistently pursued a strategy based on the development of its proprietary software and related services, as well as strong geographic, sectoral and product diversification, said Adam Góral, President of the Management Board of Asseco Poland. The international nature of the organization and its federative structure, which leaves a great deal of autonomy and freedom of action to individual companies, allow us to compete effectively on foreign markets while maintaining the local and flexible approach so necessary for our customers, he added.
As the authors of the ranking pointed out, Polish companies with a global reach not only affect the image of our country abroad, but are very important for the economic interest. Moreover, in summarizing the results of the list, they show that the best way to raise the financial status of Poles is for society and public authorities to cooperate with business for the global expansion of the Polish economy.
