Asseco will computerize the medical facilities of the District Health Center in Malbork

Asseco will provide an integrated IT system - Asseco Medical Management Solutions (AMMS) - which will operate in the medical facilities subordinate to the District Healthcare Centre (PCZ) in Malbork. Owing to the agreement signed, the hospitals in Malbork and Nowy Dwór Gdański will make selected e-services available to their patients. In addition, PCZ will be able to manage these units more effectively.

The project implemented by Asseco for PCZ involves providing a comprehensive IT solution for the health care units in the districts of Malbork and Nowy Dwór, which will provide patients, among other things, with the possibility of electronic registration of visits and access to electronic medical documentation. It will also help medical staff in every-day work. AMMS will combine the medical and administrative parts, which will guarantee fast communication between the units coordinated by PCZ.

The system offers many advantages for patients because it will support electronic registration to clinics, outpatient clinics and hospital wards. It will also make it possible to receive medical results via the Internet. Actually, owing to the solution, we will completely eliminate paper documents, said Paweł Chodyniak, President of the District Healthcare Centre in Malbork.

It will also be a great convenience for tourists who visit Malbork and Nowy Dwór County, when they need to go to our hospitals. Thanks to the new system, in the future, for example it will be possible to obtain results and information about a patient from the south of Poland, said Mirosław Czapla, President of the Malbork County.

The system which we will implement will significantly shorten the time patients have to wait for registration with a selected doctor and will make it easier for them to access test results. It will also improve communication between health units coordinated by PCZ. In addition, medical personnel will gain a convenient tool for administrative support of their cases, thanks to a special HR module, said Robert Marzec, Sales Manager, Asseco Poland.

The planned implementation of AMMS is foreseen for early 2019. Additionally, Asseco will supply mMedica system for patient service at the Addiction Prevention and Therapy Centre in Malbork, which is the partner of PCZ in the implementation of the computerization project.
