Asseco Becomes a Key IT Provider for Orange Poland
Asseco Poland has signed a 3-year framework agreement with Orange Poland. As a partner, Asseco will be responsible for the area of BBS (Business Support Systems) as well as for outsourcing of the fixed-line telephony billing system.
Asseco Poland has signed a 3-year framework agreement with Orange Poland. As a partner, Asseco will be responsible for the area of BBS (Business Support Systems) as well as for outsourcing of the fixed-line telephony billing system.
IT providers have been chosen by Orange Poland as part of its continued global Vendors Consolidation program, which involves improvement, consolidation and standardization of applications management across the Orange Group. The goals of Vendors Consolidation are to optimize costs, shorten the time for delivery of business solutions, as well as to ensure better quality. The tendering procedure resulted in selecting four key partners. Asseco Poland, being one of them, gained an opportunity for broader cooperation with Orange Poland, enabling the optimization of service delivery models. Asseco Poland is going to take care of the development and maintenance of several dozen software applications and will also actively cooperate with Orange Poland in order to optimize their IT architecture and solutions for customers.
