Asseco the most valuable Polish brand of the ICT sector
Asseco took the first place in the ranking of the most valuable Polish brands in the ICT and new technologies sector, prepared by the editorial team of the Rzeczpospolita daily. The Asseco brand is valued at nearly PLN 1.5 billion. The company is the largest software producer in Central and Eastern Europe. It started its operations thirty years ago as a start-up of a few people. Today, the Asseco Group consists of a team of over 28 thousand employees in 60 countries worldwide.
Last year Asseco generated record revenues of PLN 12.2 billion and its operating profit amounted to PLN 1.2 billion. The company focuses on sector diversification and intensively develops its business on foreign markets, where it recorded 88 percent of its sales.
The ranking of brands prepared by the editors of the Rzeczpospolita daily is a comparison of value of one of the intangible assets of companies, which has an increasing influence on their valuations.
