Asseco Poland in the new index of the Vienna Stock Exchange
The Vienna Stock Exchange has created a new index - CECE SOFT. It includes the largest and most liquid new technology companies from Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. Asseco Poland is one of 9 Polish companies included in the index.
The new index can be used by financial institutions as an underlying instrument for various financial products such as investment certificates, bonds, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) or futures.
Sustainable development and a responsible strategy are the reasons why Asseco Poland is included in the WIG30 index, which gathers the 30 largest and most liquid companies of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Main Market. We are also the largest company of the sector-wide WIG-Informatyka index in terms of capitalization. Furthermore, our shares are listed in the developed markets indices - FTSE Russell, said Artur Wiza, Vice-President of the Management Board of Asseco Poland. The inclusion of Asseco Poland in CECE SOFT is a signal for us that investors recognize our potential and strong position among European companies of new technologies, he added.
There are currently 147 indices listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, 108 of which reflect the national, regional and sectoral situation in Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe.
