Asseco provides software for the Big Family

Asseco Poland has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy to develop and provide comprehensive support for the Big Family Card (BFC) Information System. This programme is dedicated to 3.4 million multi-child family members. The project gross value is nearly PLN 4.7 million.

The Big Family Card is a result of the implementation of the Government Programme for Big Families and it offers a system of discounts and additional entitlements for families with at least three children, both at public institutions and private companies. Currently, this initiative is partnered by more than 880 firms and institutions.

Until now, more than 1.2 million Big Family Cards have already been issued. Bearing in mind that the total number of people eligible to receive such cards is 3.4 million, the implementation of a modern software system will certainly streamline and facilitate the process of serving such a large group of beneficiaries.

In this project, Asseco will be responsible for the design, creation and implementation of the BFC Information System. It will enable the implementation of statutory tasks and support issues, including the acceptance of applications in electronic form. In addition, the company will take care of the system maintenance over the next 3 years.

The BFC Information System will be open to the exchange of services and information with external systems such as PESEL (registry of population), CEIDG (registry of small businesses), KRS (registry of companies), which will be possible over the Central Social Security Information System (CSIZS) that has been developed also by Asseco.

The BFC programme is aimed to promote the model and a positive image of multi-child families. It is also intended to increase development and life opportunities for children and young people from such families.
