BASF Schwarzheide GmbH chooses Asset Management Platform and GIS from Asseco
The chemical company BASF Schwarzheide GmbH has opted for the geographical information system SAMO:LIDS and the asset management platform SAMO from Asseco in the course of digitizing its infrastructure. This makes BASF Schwarzheide GmbH in addition to Ludwigshafen and Antwerp the third site within the BASF Group which uses the innovative software solutions from Asseco.
The geographical information system SAMO:LIDS as well as the asset management platform SAMO will support BASF Schwarzheide GmbH in the future to efficiently document and manage all its networks and assets of the sectors energy, gas, IT as well as water and wastewater.

The new generation of SAMO and SAMO:LIDS uses the world’s newest technologies for an optimal user experience and benefits from the long-standing and cooperative development partnership with the users of Asseco’s software solutions. The modularity of the SAMO system will enable BASF Schwarzheide GmbH to implement further operational and strategic SAMO modules in the future to extend the range of functions.
